RABS
RABS systems are becoming increasingly popular and necessary in the aseptic processing sector. They consist of a rigid-walled barrier, made of glass or polycarbonate, equipped with gloves, which is integrated into the filling line for large-scale aseptic processing, creating a physical barrier between the operator and the process to reduce the risk of contamination.
RABS systems are classified into two categories:
- Open (oRABS) or closed (cRABS) systems
- Passive or active systems
